Sheerin Mazari I hope you understand that you are in parliament not in a school, says Abid Sher Ali.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Thursday lashed out at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shireen Mazari by saying that she has a behavior problem that needs to be treated.

In a series of tweets, Abid Sher Ali said that Shireen Mazari is like a child who always demands attention for the fame.

Continuously calling Shireen Mazari as ‘tractor trolley’ in the posts, the minister said that: “You are in Parliament not in a school where you can cry and teacher will wipe your tears grow up”.

Abid Sher Ali also bashed PTI’s Jahangir Tareen and asked him to demand apologize from his leader Imran Khan first instead of Khawaja Asif.

On the other hand, a day after giving derogatory remarks against PTI lawmaker Shireen Mazari in the National Assembly, Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif sent an apology letter to NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Thursday.

Khawaja Asif earned opposition lawmakers’ ire for referring to Shireen Mazari as a "tractor trolley" and calling her voice ‘masculine’ after she interrupted his briefing on the loadshedding situation.

Shireen Mazari, however, refused to accept the apology, stating that the PML-N MNA’s vulgar remarks were personal and he should come to the floor of the house to apologise himself.

Meanwhile, women lawmakers staged walkout from the house in protest.
