ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Hot and dry weather with severe heatwave conditions are likely to continue over plain areas of Punjab, central and southern Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, upper Sindh, Sibi and Makran divisions during the next twenty-four hours.
However, rain and dust-thunderstorm with strong gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Hazara divisions, FATA and Kashmir.
Temperature in Rawalpindi is rising slowly and can reach to 41°C.
Weather in Lahore will remain hot and dry however light wind will continue to blow with the temperature going upto 44°C.
All the cities in Balochistan including Quetta are enveloped by intense heat with the highest temperature recorded in Nokandi.
