Summary Shopkeepers have labeled whole-sale dealers responsible for increase in goods' prices
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Prices of gram flour and various drinks have risen a great deal prior to the beginning of the holy month of Ramazan, reported Dunya News on Monday.
Gram flour is being sold in Karachi s retail market at a price of Rs 180 with an increase of Rs 40 in the original price. The price of Chana dal, with an increase of Rs 10, has reached Rs 160 whereas prices of various drinks have also inclined.
Shopkeepers have labeled the whole-sale dealers responsible for the increase in the prices of these goods. Local public believes that the district government has failed to curtail the profit-seekers.
