ECP postpones mayor, deputy mayor elections in Sindh
The new schedule would be issued soon: ECP
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has postponed the final phase of municipal elections of mayor, deputy mayors and scheduled seats on Friday, reported Dunya News.
According to the schedule released 2 days ago, polling had to be conducted on June 8. ECP stated that Sindh local body elections and the electoral schedule have been postponed on Sindh High Court s orders. The new schedule would be issued soon ECP has further stated.
