KARACHI (Dunya News) – Another case of inefficient investigation of Karachi police has surfaced as the officers declared Pakistani local as Afghan national and sent him to jail for eight months, reported on Wednesday.
Sources told that security personnel apprehended Muhammad Asad Ullah and declared him as Habib Ullah, a Afghan citizen.
Asad’s father said that police officers intentionally sent his son to jail for eight months despite enough evidence. He said that Asad Ullah belongs to Pakistan.
He said that a report was also lodged on January 28, 2015 as his son went missing while all the necessary identification documents were also submitted to the investigation officer but no action was taken in this regard.
Asad’s father said that policemen arrested his son from Dadu area but they have not freed him.
Moreover, he further pleaded for justice and demanded earlier release of his son.
