NAB chairmans appointment challenged in SC

Appointment of NAB chairman Justice (r) Deedar Hussain Shah has been challenged in the Supreme Court and hearing of a similar petition filed in the Sindh High Court has been started. It is maintained in the petition filed in the SC by Shahid Orakzai that legal obligations were not met in the appointment of NAB chairman. On the other hand, a bench comprised of Justice Sajjad Ali Shah and Justice Shahid Anwar Bajwa started the hearing of the petition challenging NAB chairmans appointment in the Sindh High Court. Petitioner Rasheed A. Akhwand Advocate told the court that the President didnt consult with Prime Minister, Opposition Leader and the Chief Justice for NAB chairmans appointment.
