TTP releases video footage of Dr Ajmal Khan

Outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan released a video footage of Vice Chancellor of Islamia College University Dr Ajmal Khan in which the latter appealed the government to negotiate his release with the terrorists, Dunya News reported on Thursday. The footage showed two armed veiled men standing behind Dr Ajmal who pleaded that he could not stay with the Taliban for long for he is a heart patient. He further said that he was abducted while going to his office on Sept 7 for being a relative of ANP leader Asfand Yar Wali and a government officer. He appealed to Asfand Yar Wali, Chief Minister Haider Khan Hoti and Governor Awais Ahmed Ghani to secure his freedom.
