Lahore: Police take 39 into custody during search operation
According to police, ID documents of the individuals had not been submitted in police station.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Police late Thursday night took 39 tenants into custody during a search operation in several places of factory area of Lahore. A case was registered against 12 of the individuals for violation of the Punjab Tenancy Act.
According to the police, these people living on rent in the houses but their identification documents had not been submitted in the concerned police station due to which they have been taken into custody.
Further interrogation from individuals taken into custody is being conducted.
