ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Assembly Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah and Senate Opposition Leader Aitzaz Ahsan on Tuesday have criticised Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar over Musharraf’s departure and said that Nisar can be disqualified if anyone files a writ against him, reported Dunya News.
Khurshid and Aitzaz have slammed Nisar over Musharraf’s departure. Both the leaders have declared Nisar as Musharraf’s representative and indicated the enactment of article 62 and 63 over the very act.
Talking to the media Khurshid Shah said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) can never call Musharraf a traitor as the party has administered the oath itself.
He also said that government has been trapped as far as implementation of article 6 is concerned.
Aitzaz Ahsan said that Nisar can be disqualified from his office if anyone files a writ against him over misinterpretations. He also said that Sharif brothers would have stayed in Jeddah if NRO had never existed.
