Summary The two killed motorcyclists were related, say police

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Road accidents in different parts of the province have claimed at least six lives while left another six injured, Dunya News reported Tuesday.

A speedy container rammed into a motorcycle on Multan Road near office of the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL). Zulfiqar and Ibrahim died on the spot while police seized the bodies.



Driver of the heavy vehicle fled the scene however security personnel apprehended the conductor. The police stated that both the victims were cousins and the bereaved families have been informed.

Separately, a passenger bus hit a rickshaw resulting in three deaths while injuring six on Okara’s Faisalabad Road. Reportedly, rickshaw driver lost control over the vehicle that caused the accident near Youngpur area.

The accident claimed one life on the spot while two succumbed to wounds after being shifted to district headquarters hospital (DHQ) by rescue teams.

In another road accident in Multan s Jalalpur Pirwala, a police van allegedly ran over a minor sparking outrage among the locals who protested against the innocent killing.
