Pak Army operates in Shawal: 19 militants killed, four soldiers including captain martyred
During an operation in Shawal by Pak army, 5 soldiers including captain embraced martyrdom
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – The ground operation by Pakistan army in Shawal Valley on Saturday left 19 militants dead while four soldiers including a captain also embraced martyrdom during the exchange of fire, Dunya News reported.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), fleeing militants were surrounded by security forces at Mangroti. 19 militants were killed and several were injured during intense exchange of fire. A captain with three soldiers got martyred during exchange of fire,
ISPR also stated that the militant group wanted to cross Pak-Afghan border but were timely intercepted by security forces and eventually made it unsuccessful.
