Summary Responding to PM Nawaz's statement, former President said 18th amendment being constantly violated
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – While responding to Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s statement, former President Asif Ali Zardari has on Tuesday said that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is not the only organisation troubling the respectable people but Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is doing the same too, reported Dunya News.
Asif Zardari said that Nawaz Sharif’s FIA is also doing what the PM dislikes about NAB. He added that a serving minister has already said that PPP leader Dr. Asim has done no corruption but he’s still being harassed for the last several months. He added that the 18th amendment was being constantly violated.
It is pertinent to mention here that PM had said in an address in Bahwalpur earlier today that NAB is breaking into innocent people’s houses without caring whether it is right or wrong. He had said that dishonouring respectable people was unfair and the NAB chairman must take notice or the government will have to take the necessary action.
