TANDO JAM (Dunya News) – At least eight people, including a woman and a child, were killed and another eight sustained injuries when Lahore-bound Fareed Express hit a mini-truck at a railway crossing near Tando Jam on Sunday.
Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital in Tando Jam. Sources said that condition of several injured is stated to be critical.
On the other hand, Pakistan Railways sources said that the engine of the Fareed Express was partially damaged in the accident which was replaced by an alternative engine.
