Summary KP police has been handed 4 mobile crime scene units for improving the capacity of the organisation
PESHAWAR: (Dunya News) – In order to improve the capacity of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police, the department has been handed four mobile crime scene units, reported Dunya News.
In a ceremony held at Peshawar Central Police Office, 4 crime scene units have been handed to KP police for investigating and inquiring any matter on the spot in case of any accident or terrorist activity. These units will be set up in police cars and handed to police department in Charsadda, Mardan, Nowshehra and Swabi. The police say that mobile forensic units will prove helpful for them.
The mobile forensic units have been equipped with the facilities to detect finger prints, collecting DNA evidence and other important resources. Additional IG Mian Asif said that these facilities will really help investigating the cases.
Mobile forensic laboratories have been provided to three model police stations in Peshawar previously as well.
