Lahore police inaugurates command and control room to root out crime
CCPO Amin Wains said that IT will help significantly in the fight against terrorism and crime.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore police on Wednesday inaugurated command and control room in the metropolis for the eradication of terrorism and crimes.
Security officials will use electronic screens to monitor police patrolling and Police Response Unit (PRU) force vehicles with the help of trackers.
Schools, banks and business centers will be monitored closely whereas beat officers deployed on patrolling will also be supervised through mobile phones.
On this occasion, Lahore capital city police officer (CCPO) Amin Wains said that IT will help significantly in the fight against terrorism and crime.
He also said that a monthly record will also be prepared with the assistance of control room on the basis of which the performance of the officials will be watched in an effective way.
