KARACHI (Dunya News) – A new footage of firing during protest of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) workers in Karachi has raised several questions as the recorded material has shown that the firing was opened from inside the crowd.
The footage has clearly shown that no police or Rangers officer was present at the firing spot. The personnel said that they didn’t resort to shooting as the situation was under control.
According to cam1 video, Rangers were only stopping protesters from entering the airport building and then suddenly firing heard, injuring one person. Another man was seen making victory sign despite intensive situation. The officers have stated that investigation into the matter is necessary as the incident has turned suspicious.
However, another video clearly showed that aircraft engineer Inayat was very closely shot in the neck while the Rangers officials were standing across the road.

The surfaced video has raised several questions that who has opened fire at the protesters? What was the purpose of creating chaos? and who is behind this conspiracy?
Earlier, Inayat Raza, a PIA official, and another worker were killed in a shooting incident as PIA employees were protesting against the privatization in Karachi. Rangers spokesperson issued a statement saying that none of their soldier opened fire during protest outside the Jinnah International Airport.

DIG East also stated that the policemen were only ordered to stop and negotiate with the protesters. More than ten PIA workers were reportedly injured who were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment while seven others were detained.
