PM Nawaz meets speaker Balochistan Assembly Rahila Hameed in Islamabad
PM Nawaz felicitated the lady minister for becoming first woman speaker of Balochistan assembly.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday held a meeting with Speaker of Balochistan Assembly Rahila Hameed Durrani and lauded the security arrangements made by the forces in the province.
During the meeting, PM Nawaz felicitated the lady minister for becoming first woman speaker of the assembly and assured that the prosperity and peace in Balochistan is government’s first priority.
He lauded the civil and military departments for ensuring tranquility in the province and hoped that the concerning authorities would continue their responsibility honestly.
Menawhile, Rahila Hameed Durrani also appreciated the efforts made for combating terrorism and other criminal activities from the country. She said that the incumbent government has done a lot for the security of the state.
The leader has also briefed the premier over legislature procedure in the provincial assembly.
