LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Police on Thursday arrested the suspected operative of an outlawed outfit after successful crackdown in Lahore, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the CTD police have arrested a suspected operative of a banned outfit after a successful crackdown at Manawan area of Lahore.
The arrested suspect works as a stenographer for an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) while one of his brothers is deployed at security of ATC’s special court’s judge.
The suspect is accused of providing crucial information to a banned outfit.

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Karachi has arrested 11 terrorist in Baldia Ittehad Town operation over information of intelligence agencies, reported Dunya News.
According to details, CTD recovered huge amount of arms and explosives from terrorists possession. The seized items include 10 grenade, five rocket launchers, Kalashnikovs and other explosive materials. CTD in-charge said that the terrorists were making plan to attack a government building in same way as they did at the airport.
According to reports, anti-terror police carried out a search operation in Baldia Ittehad Town area of Karachi after receiving information about the presence of the terrorists in the area. During anti-terror raid, CTD personnel arrested eleven suspected terrorists including two commanders of Al-Qaeda and Lashker-Jhangvi. Talking to media, CTD in-charge Ali Raza said that surgical based raid was carried out in the Muhammad Khan colony on the tip of intelligence agencies.
