Multan: Doctors declare surgery of conjoined sisters 'impossible'

The family has named the girls as Fatima and Aleeza.

MULTAN (Dunya News) – The medical staff of children complex in Multan has finally decided to shift the conjoined sisters to Lahore for proper medical care however, the doctors are still indecisive over their surgery.

According to details, the possibility of separating sisters has shut as the CT Angiography Test report has cleared that the children share one heart, stomach, liver and other arteries. The doctors said that it’s not only difficult but impossible to apart the minors.

On the other hand, the family has named the girls as Fatima and Aleeza while their third sister who is normal has been given a named of Khadija.

Both the girls are in incubator and are being pumped artificial respiration.

As per the Medical Superintendent of Children’s Complex, the Health Department and Punjab government have directed to provide immediate treatment to the twins at at any cost.
