4.9 magnitude earthquake jolts Swat, surrounding areas
Peshawar, Swat and surroundings felt earthquake, epicenter was in Afghanistan
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – A 4.9 magnitude earthquake jolted Peshawar, Swat, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and many parts of Afghanistan and Tajikistan on Wednesday, reported Dunya News.
According to the meteorological department, depth of the earthquake was less than 67 kilometers. No loss of life and property has yet been reported as it was a mild earthquake.
