CHISHTIAN (Dunya News) – An extravagant marriage ceremony organised in Chak number 35 saw crores of rupees spent on opulence while the family hosted meals to thousands of locals for a week.
Afzal Khokhar had arranged marriages of his two brothers, Shahzad and Asif. At least 3,000 VVIP guests participated every night for seven nights to devour not less than twenty dishes. More than 5,000 other guests were offered three to seven dishes.
The big brother had also arranged lunch boxes for thousands of uninvited locals.
Indian expertise was taken for floral decoration for which he paid Rs 3 crore while Rs 5 crore was paid to the caterers. VVIP guests who had come to Pakistan to attend the wedding were shifted to the venue using cars which were imported from Dubai just for the purpose.
