LAHORE (Dunya News) – After 122 schools in Islamabad, two government schools in Punjab’s provincial capital have also been named after Army Public School (APS) martyrs, Dunya News reported Monday.

Boys High School in Model Town C-Block and Girls High School in E-Block have been named after APS martyrs in a ceremony. A large number of students, parents and faculty participate in the ceremony and paid rich tribute to the young martyrs.

The participants termed the sacrifices of late students an unforgettable loss.

Education Minister Rana Mashood was the chief guest of the gathering and formally gave out the news. While addressing the gathering, the nation would not let the sacrifices go in vain. He further said that ten schools in total have been renamed in the province with two in Lahore.

Earlier in the federal capital on December 14, Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif approved naming 122 schools after the martyred youth.
