KARACHI (Web Desk) – In a latest development in probe of attack on military police in Karachi, the investigation team has released two sketches of a suspected terrorist on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, the two suspects were seen in Lines area half hour before the attack on military police vehicle on December 1. They escaped the city’s M.A Jinnah Road towards Lines Area after the attack.
Reportedly, they were hiding the weapon in a pink shopping bag.

Police told media they had discovered 9mm cartridge cases at the scene.

The jeep was stuck in traffic on the city‘s main M.A. Jinnah Road when they came under attack from behind, according to officials.
Police are frequently targeted by militants and criminal gangs in the volatile city of around 20 million, but attacks on the military are rarer.
The last incident occurred on November 20, when four paramilitary soldiers were killed in western Karachi while guarding a mosque.
Overall levels of militant, criminal and sectarian-linked violence have decreased significantly since paramilitary forces began a sweeping crackdown in 2013.
