Summary a resoulution to extend Rangers' power will be presented on floor of Sindh Parliament on Thursday

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Federal government may exercise its right to extend Rangers’ powers if provincial government of Sindh fails to do so. A resolution to extend Rangers’ power will be presented in session of Sindh Assembly on Thursday, reported Dunya News.

4 days have passed yet Rangers’ powers have not been extended as Sindh government remains mum on the issue. Federal government has decided to extend powers of the paramilitary outfit by itself. As per sources, federal government can issue notification of extension of Rangers’ powers under Protection of Pakistan Ordinance.

On the other hand, a resoulution to extend Rangers’ power will be presented on floor of Sindh Parliament in a session being held on Thursday.
