ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan and India have agreed to restore comprehensive dialogue and the series of talks will begin with new zeal, Dunya News reported.
According to details, Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz met in Islamabad in which they discussed restoration of comprehensive dialogue between both the countries.
Addressing a joint press conference, Swaraj said it has been decided in the meeting that comprehensive dialogue will be given a fresh start. She further said she will convey her statement in Indian parliament.
Sartaj Aziz said the joint declaration will be released soon. Prior to that, Swaraj met with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and conveyed the message of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During the meeting in pleasant atmosphere, PM Nawaz introduced the Pakistani panel while Swaraj introduced the Indian side. Tariq Aziz, Tariq Fatmi, Nasir Janjua, Aizaz Chaudhry and other officials were also present in the meeting.
The Prime Minister reiterated his determination of having friendly relations with all neighbouring countries and said that all disputes should be resolved through dialogue.
