Summary Three machine guns, 32 rockets and eight mortar bombs were seized, say sources
HANGU (Dunya News) – Law enforcers on Friday have foiled a terror bid as huge cache of weapons was seized near Darsamand.
Sources privy to the law enforcement agency said that three machine guns, 32 rockets, eight mortar bombs and more than 4,000 bullets have been seized.
Earlier in September, a councilor belonging to Awami National Party (ANP) among two was killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast along the road in Hangu’s Tora Wari area. Another two were reported wounded in the attack.
Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) had foiled another terror bid in Tal Bazaar area in the recent past where a device weighing at least five Kilograms (Kg) was seized.
