Summary PPP has finally come to know that there was an earthquake in Peshawar some month and half ago
PESHAWAR: (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader, and Opposition Leader in National Assembly, Syed Khurshid Shah has finally taken relief goods for the earthquake victims to Peshawar after realizing the need for same after some month and a half, reported Dunya News.
According to details, Khurshid Shah brought the relief goods to Peshawar for the earthquake victims after some month and half of the occurrence of the tragedy. But when asked about the reason for delay, Shah got angry. Instead of enlightening the people about the reason for the delay, Khurshid Shah advised the media to adopt positive thinking.
The opposition leader said that he is pained to see the conditions of the people living in Chitral, Dir, Shangla, Swat and Buner. He told that he has written letters to Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of the province in this regard. He said that 50,000 blankets and 3 generators of 250 kilowatts are a gift for the quake victims, not some favour given to them.
Khurshid Shah was accompanied by Senator Robina Khalid, MNA Nafeesa Shah, Khanzada Khan and Zahir Shah on this occasion. The relief goods were handed over by the PPP Sindh to Pakistan Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).
