“Possibility of a political alliance of Pakistan Tehrik Insaf and Pakistan Peoples Party is out of question”. Asad Umer senior leader PTI, talking in renowned current affairs program, “Tonight with Moeed Pirzada”, expressed emphatically. He said that collaboration of PPP and PTI was out of question and Media was misguiding people about question of expected alliance. Considering the track record of Mr. Zardari and PPP government, an alliance between PTI and PPP was possible only if the purpose of the same was to raise voice of common man through parliament. He ruled out the likelihood of forging an alliance devoid of this ground with PPP.

Answering to a question of the anchor, Asad Umer, expressed that he always followed rule of law, but in current scenario where PMLN was using government resources for its election campaign and police was also biased in it approach, so to confront this violation, they (PTI) were also breaching law to some extent. He further contended that rule of law should be given due respect and everyone should follow its basic principles. He pointed out palpable violation of different electoral codes of conduct. Big poster sizes fixed during election campaigns of PML(N) was one of the examples.

Asad Umer enlighten about meeting of Shah Mehmood Qureshi and PTI delegation with opposition leader Khursheed Shah. He asserted that it was decided in the meeting to sit together with PPP and make alliance just to raise voice of common man on floor of parliament. He further stated that agenda of PTI brought on assembly floor should not be hindered by Speaker of Assembly. He mentioned that opposition has separate room for leader of opposition, whereas PTI has no proper space to sit in assembly building. As a result of this, agenda of PPP gains attention, while that of PTI goes unnoticed. Hence, it was decided to ask the speaker and opposition leader to give PTI its due rights in National Assembly.

About affairs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa , Asad Umer apprised that international organizations and World Health Organization had recognized and appreciated efforts of Imran Khan to eradicate Polio in the province. In a history of over 65 years of Pakistan, maximum numbers of dams during tenure have been constructed by KPK government on water channels and some more are in pipeline all the same. Talking about police reforms he explained that police reforms envisaged by KPK government have been appreciated by opposition. A visible Improvement could be seen in police department after introduction of such reforms. Change cannot be brought easily; some hard decisions and actions have to be taken by PTI. And we will bring about change by channelizing strength of masses specially youth in right direction.
