MULTAN (Dunya News) – Multan police’s greed ripped even the horses off their food. Regional Police Officer (RPO) took the office from the two officers involved by forced retirement, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, two officers of Multan police embezzled the money allocated for feeding the horses of police line while in official papers the money was being properly used for horse-feed. The victims of malnutrition, poor horses have become the picture of human cruelty and greed. RPO Tariq Masood Yaseen sent Inspector Islam and Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Ahmed on forced retirement for the fraud.

Police on Friday had to borrow money from locals to transport criminals to court after motorcycle encountered a mechanical fault.
According to the details, Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Haram Gate Police Station set off to court to shift two criminals for hearing today. Motorcycle encountered an issue near Shaheen Market.
Repeated attempts to fix motorcycle attracted a huge crowd on the road. Upon failing to help the policemen in the issue, locals borrowed Rs 500 from shopkeepers in the market and hired a rickshaw. Both the criminals involved in thievery and other criminals were shifted to court on a three-wheeler.
On the occasion, police officials complained about shortage of vehicles in the concerned police station. They further cited several incidents when criminals had absconded from custody due to the same issue.
