Summary Officials complained about shortage of vehicles in the concerned police station
MULTAN (Dunya News) – Police on Friday had to borrow money from locals to transport criminals to court after motorcycle encountered a mechanical fault.
According to the details, Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Haram Gate Police Station set off to court to shift two criminals for hearing today. Motorcycle encountered an issue near Shaheen Market.
Repeated attempts to fix motorcycle attracted a huge crowd on the road. Upon failing to help the policemen in the issue, locals borrowed Rs 500 from shopkeepers in the market and hired a rickshaw. Both the criminals involved in thievery and other criminals were shifted to court on a three-wheeler.
On the occasion, police officials complained about shortage of vehicles in the concerned police station. They further cited several incidents when criminals had absconded from custody due to the same issue.
