US missiles destroyed a compound used by militants in Pakistans tribal belt on Monday, killing at least 20 militants, while four others were injured. A US drone fired at least three missiles into the compound in Miranshah, North Waziristan, a Taliban and Al-Qaeda-linked stronghold heavily targeted in a covert US drone war this year.It was not immediately clear whether there were any high-value targets among the dead.The missiles were fired at around 8:55 pm and militants quickly surrounded the site, barring access to local residents, sources said.
