Regional Police Officer (RPO) Gujranwala Zulfiqar Cheema has been replaced. The officers in fact finding committee of Rescue 1122 have also been suspended.RPO Gujranwala Zulfiqar Cheema has been replaced by DIG welfare and Finance. Lahore City Traffic Police DIG Tariq Masood Yasin will has been appointed as new RPO Gunjranwala. Zulfiqar Cheema has also been assigned the additional charge of DIG Lahore City Traffic Police. On instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif Major Shabbir has also been included into the investigation team probing the barbaric killings of the brothers. Police has arrested eight people present during the time of the lynching for recording their official statements.Earlier during the week the relatives of the victims have expressed reservations over the previous probing committee which was headed by DIG Mushtaq Sukhera.
