Summary Earlier, she had criticised media for hurling baseless allegations at her
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman’s ex-spouse, Reham on Saturday has once again taken to social media to voice her dejection but this time she has complained to the people and not journalists.
In a message posted on twitter, she stated that for over a year media has been maligning her and the only way she was told to respond was to ignore. She stated that the people became mere spectators and no one actually stepped up in her defense.
Imran’s ex-wife expressed her dejection over people’s attitude towards her.
For over a year everyone watched quietly when the media was used to malign me. No one defended me & I was told to ignore it.

Earlier, she had criticised media for hurling baseless allegations at her. On the other hand, Imran Khan continues to defend his ex-wife on whichever platform he is made to.
No truth in rumour about poisoning Imran, says Reham Khan
In a press conference in Peshawar, he had barred journalists to ask him questions about Reham and their personal issues including divorce. However, he censured a journalist for not following with his request.
Later on, Peshawar journalists went on to strike and protest against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) leading party’s chief. Peshawar Press Club heard slogans and saw demonstrations against Khan.
Some journalists had claimed that the couple splitup because Reham wanted PTI to fund her film production career. While some believed that Reham used to "beat Imran up and check his mobile phone after he dozed off."
