Summary Divorce of the PTI leader will adversely affect his political life: Khurshid Shah
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has instructed party leaders to refrain from commenting from on domestic affairs of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan’s divorce with Reham Khan. Jamiat-e-Ulema Fazl (JUI-F) Jalil Khan criticized the matter while Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly Shehla Raza asked Imran Khan to ‘complete his hat trick’.
Politicans are having a field day on commenting about Reham-Imran divorce as Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah could not bring himself to refrain from comments even as party premier forbade to say anything on the matter. Rana Sanaullah said that even as the knot had been tied, many senior political commentators had predicted the divorce adding that a man of Imran Khan’s mentality cannot live with anybody for a long time.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari termed the whole affair as ‘private matter’ and declined to comment on the matter. Party leader Shehla Raza, however harshly criticized Imran Khan and said that Imran Khan’s second wicket has fallen adding that he has a golden chance to make it a ‘hat trick’. She also commented that had the matter been a private matter, the announcement would not have been made by PTI Spokesperson Naeem ul Haq.
Opposition leader Khurshid Shah said that private matters of public leaders are of significance to general public. He said that divorce of the PTI leader will adversely affect his political life.
