Russia: President meets with Karzai, Medvedev

President Asif Ali Zardari met with his Afghan counterpart Hamid Karzai and Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on the sidelines of the quadripartite summit on Wednesday in Russia. During the talks, Dmitry offered to help Pakistan deal with the catastrophic floods that have affected some 20 million people _ or one in nine Pakistanis. Russian PM said that the meeting helped to boost military and economic ties with all the four states attending the meeting. Earlier, President Zardari and Hamid Karzai agreed on joint efforts against terrorism and to maintain peace.
