ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Saturday has said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) presented an unparalleled example of struggle against suppression.
The PTI chairman expressed these views in connection with Youm-e-Ashur today.
He said that martyrs of Karbala have marked a clear demarcation between good and bad for the generations to come. Khan said that martyrs’ sacrifices would be remembered until the world exists and after that.
Khan said that the Karbala incident shows that ideologies could not be destroyed with unjust power. He said that the martyrs’ sacrifices should be considered as grounds to establish a society rooted in justice.

10th of Muharram commemorates the supreme sacrifice rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) against oppressors. Tight security arrangements have been chalked out to maintain law and order across the country during Ashur.
