LHC adjourns hearing in Jinnah Hospital missing doctor case

Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry of the Lahore High Court (LHC) has urged the government to control ISI. He made these remarks during a hearing of proceedings about missing Doctor Ali Abdullah of the Jinnah Hospital.Ali Abdullah was abducted around 20 days ago. The petitioner alleged that the personnel of intelligence agencies had abducted him as he was on his way home from the hospital. Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Naveed Inayat Malik filed a reply from the Defence Ministry, wherein it was submitted that the Military Intelligence (MI) had no knowledge regarding the whereabouts of the missing doctor.Justice Ijaz Ahmed urged that the ISI should be accountable to the law. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till August 19.It is pertinent to note that the doctor Ali Abdullah had been missing since July 10. The doctor was treating the Ahmadis, injured in the attacks on their worship places and was also assigned the duty in the ward of Moaz, the terrorist involved in attacks on Qadianis worship places.
