Summary Clashes between the neighbouring countries pose threat to peace of the region, says JI chief
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq on Saturday has said that the dispute between India and Pakistan is not about building a wall on Working Boundary but about Kashmir which is needed to be raised in the Security Council.
He expressed these views while talking to the media after paying a visit to orphans on Eidul Adha’s second day.
Senator Haq said that series of clashes between the neighbouring countries poses a threat to peace and stability of the region.
The JI leader said that extension in service tenure of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif would be a political challenge for the Prime Minister (PM). He would recommend possible solutions of problems if needed, he added.
