DERA ISMAIL KHAN (Dunya News) – Ban on pillion riding for security concerns in the city have added to the problems of the people during Eidul Adha holidays.
The administration has imposed Section 144 in the city resultantly thousands of people who step out of their homes to rejoice and make merry on Eid seem disinterested this year.
The ban was imposed in light of several target killings in different areas particularly of police personnel.
The police, early in the morning started giving tickets to violators of the law who were seen on roads heading to different places. As riders are unable to bring along their relatives and friends while transport during Eid holidays is minimal and available for hiked prices, people are restricted to their houses.
