Summary PM Nawaz is due to speak at UNGA on September 27
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Dunya News has obtained the transcript of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s speech that he is due to give at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on September 27, Dunya News reported.
As per the transcript, Pakistan will fully oppose addition to permanent seats of the Security Council and Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir conflict will be brought to the attention of the global community.
As per details, PM will also highlight the issue of unprovoked firing on Line of Control (LoC) by the Indian side. Pakistan will also reiterate Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir conflict before the global community.
The speech will also feature recommendations for resolution of conflicts between both countries. Pakistan’s clear stance on establishment of peace in Afghanistan will also be part of Prime Minister’s speech.
It is further stated in the speech that using force against Afghan Taliban does not guarantee peace in the country.
