SC upholds ineligibility decision against PML-N MPA

Supreme Court, upholding an ineligibility decision in a fake degree case against PML-Ns MPA Haji Nazir Mehmood, has ordered on Wednesday to register a case against him and return all salaries and privileges in two weeks. Haji Nasir who was elected from PP-111 Gujrat was declared ineligible by election tribunal due to fake degree. He had filed a plea in the Supreme Court against this decision. The SC, declaring him fraudulent, has ordered the Election Commission to register case against him under Pakistan Penal Code. The SC declared that cheaters and fraudulents cannot be beneficial. The court said that fake degree holders have lost their the confidence of their voters.
