LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Minister for Education and Sports Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has written to Chairman National Accountability Bureau complaining that Director General (DG) NAB Punjab is being personal to him, Dunya News reported.

Mashhood wrote in the correspondence that he neither received any letter nor has he been asked to be part of any investigation.

According to details, Mashhood has written to Chairman NAB complaining the DG NAB Punjab is resorting to being personal against him, questioning whether NAB rules permit DG NAB Punjab to resort to such ‘personal measures’.

He asked whether NAB rules permit the DG to appear on media and continue the campaign against a “responsible citizen without any evidence”.

The provincial minister has argued that his reputation has been hurt and that he reserves the right of taking legal action. He said NAB is a prominent and reputable institution and must not be used for ‘political vengeance’.
