MULTAN (Dunya News) -- Multan police has sought experts to look after its patrolling horses on Wednesday. IG Punjab has sought report from Regional Police Officer (RPO) on the matter, reported Dunya News.

Police in Multan had tendered a demand for 20 horses for the purpose of patrolling to which IG office had given the horses. However the veterinary board of police has declared the horses to be sick and aged. IG Punjab has sought report from RPO to inquire on the matter.

RPO Tariq Masood has taken the stance that veterinary doctors have not been able to determine the age of horses accurately adding that experts have been called from Lahore after which horses will be able to continue their patrols in 15 days.
