Summary All the important appointments in Sindh are made by Omni group from Bilawal House
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Appointments in Sindh are made directly from Bilawal House according to the revelations made by the arrested Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Dr. Asim. The PPP leader has also confessed occupying a 6-acre plot worth Rs. 1.5 billion in Clifton, Karachi. He has revealed that police are used for private activities, reported Dunya News.
According to sources, the PPP leader, considered a very close friend of Co-chairman PPP Asif Ali Zardari, has revealed that all the secretaries, IGs and DIGs in Sindh are appointed by Omni Group in Bilawal House. He has also said that Omni Group’s Anwar Majeed’s role in the transfer postings of police. He revealed that appointment of any officer at any important post requires approval of Anwar Majeed and other important leaders.
Dr. Asim has also said that the Omni Group takes care of the matters related to Shikarpur Rice Mill, Dadu Sugar Mill, Thattha cement factory and Larkana Sugar Mill while they use police for their private activities.
Sources told Dunya News that Anwar Majeed and Abdul Ghafoor Majeed are two important members of the Omni Group.
On the other hand, Rangers’ spokesperson has rejected the reports circulating in the media regarding Dr. Asim’s revelation and said that all these reports are baseless. He said that no such investigation report was released by Rangers.
