Yousaf Raza Gilani gets bail in 11 corruption cases till October 12
The judge approved former PM's bail over surety bond of one lac in each case.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Federal Anti-Corruption Court on Monday has granted bail to former prime minister and leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Yousaf Raza Gilani in as many as 11 corruption cases till October 12 , Dunya News reported.
During case hearing, Gilani s lawyer Farooq H.Naek told the court that 11 cases against his client contain same charges. He said cases against Yousaf Raza Gilani are politically motivated and no evidence has been provided so far.
Meanwhile, the Federal Anti-Corruption Court approved the former PM s bail over bail bond worth Rs 1 lac in each case and directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) not to arrest the former prime minister till October 12.
While talking to media after hearing, Yousaf Raza Gilani stated that he has asked the court to tell how many cases are due against him.
