Hundreds rendered homeless by flood in South Waziristan

The death toll in flash floods unleashed by torrential rains in Tank area of South Waziristan rose to 3. Thousands of people were rendered homeless in Tank, aid and rescue work was affected because of long distances and damaged roads. According to reports, a joint operation by the army, Frontier Corps and the provincial government was under way to shift the affected people to safe areas. Dozen of villages in neighboring areas of Tank have submerged in South Waziristan.
