Sardar Atiq elected unopposed as AJK PM

Muslim Conference leader Sardar Atiq Ahmed Khan has been elected unopposed as AJK Prime Minister on Tuesday. No candidate turned up to challenge Sardar Atiq for the top position. Following Raja Farooq Haiders resignation as AJK Prime Minister, nomination papers were to be submitted for the new Leader of the House till 6pm today. However, no candidate except Sardar Atiq submitted nomination papers till the scheduled time. Sardar Atiq will now get vote of confidence from the members of AJK Assembly on Thursday.
