Summary Electoral irregularities are criminal, maligning army is PML-N's old habit, says Chairman PTI
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has on Sunday said that provincial officials of Election Commission and Chairman NADRA must resign immediately in view of the NA-122 tribunal verdict. He said that electoral irregularities are tantamount to criminal negligence. He said that maligning army is an old habit of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N), reported Dunya News.
Holding a press conference in Islamabad after the meeting of PTI’s Advisory Council, Imran Khan bitterly criticized the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). He said that the tribunal verdict on NA-122 vindicated his stance. He said that the ‘third wicket’ will also be falling soon. “If the government is brave enough, it should open the 4th constituency instead of hiding behind the Supreme Court”, said Khan.
Imran Khan said that maligning army is PML-N’s old habit. He said that no general helped PTI in the sit-in. “You have to take to roads in order to get justice”, he added. Chairman PTI said that he has no personal enmity with Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. “All I want is to rectify the errors in the system. A person having dubious credentials as the MNA was running the entire house for two years”, he said.
