Summary Sources said that Waheedullah was wanted in killings of at least 42 personnel
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Special Police Unit (SPU) and intelligence agencies have foiled a major terror bid as a militant was arrested from Haji Camp General Bus Stand ahead of Friday prayers.
The personnel seized a remote control, indigenous bomb weighing at least 11 Kilogram (Kg) from Waheedullah alias Abu Bakar s possession. The bomb was placed in a water cooler. Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) diffused the bomb after learning about the arrest.
Sources said that Waheedullah was wanted in killings of at least 42 personnel and more than six terror acts. The militant was also involved in killings of Intelligence Bureau’s (IB) director, assistant director, retired superintendent of police and inspector.
However, the terrorist has been shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation. He is said to be from Orakzai Agency.
