ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court (SC) on Friday has ordered to form a commission on the matter of escape of Ogra scandal’s main suspect Tauqeer Sadiq, Dunya News reported.
The hearing of the case was headed by a three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Jawwad S Khawaja.
Prosecutor National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Waqas Qadeer Dar told the court that no one has been proven guilty in the matter.
Chief Justice stated that NAB’s report on Tauqeer Sadiq’s escape is merely a pretention. He said that millions were spend to bring him back to the country.
On Chief Justice’s inquiry, the prosecutor told the court that chairman NAB is abroad for his treatment. The judge asked that whether or not the disease can be treated in Pakistan.
Chief Justice Jawwad S Khawaja adjourned the hearing till next week and directed to form a commission regarding the matter.
